has its breathing air tested
and certified for purity. We think
pure breathing air is important.
Our latest test is always on
display, and we are proud to
have pure air. We use it too !!
Great Meals Included:On
the SAND DOLLAR meals
are prepared fresh. The SAND
DOLLAR is famous for superb
meals. No, we don't think that
the frozen burgers, the instant
potatoes, frozen lasagna, or
canned soup sold by other boats
is even in the same league as
the SAND DOLLAR's cuisine !
Inflatable Chase Boat:The
SAND
DOLLAR always has
an inflatable chase boat in
the water to assist divers. We believe
that if a diver gets tired,
it is easier to give assistance than have
the diver get exhausted. It
is surprising how few other boats are
aware of the benefit of an inflatable
chase boat or even have one.
Back Up Systems:If
a boat only has one compressor, or
just one generator, a trip could
be in jeopardy if there is any
equipment problems. The SAND
DOLLAR has back-up for all
major systems. The Reliability
of the SAND DOLLAR is one of
the reasons so many groups charter
the SAND DOLLAR only.
Fishing or Diving ?The
SAND
DOLLAR is a dive boat,
and has always been a dive boat.
It is not a converted fishing
boat, and doesn't do fishing
trips. There is no bait tank that
smells like dead anchovies on
the SAND DOLLAR. We are a
dive boat, and specialize in
dive trips only. We do it right !!
Air Cylinders and Weights:are
always included on our
dive trips. Our guests do not
have to go rent them somewhere.
Coast Guard Inspected:The
SAND
DOLLAR is a Coast
Guard Inspected Boat, Licensed
to carry up to 35 Passengers.
Enriched Air - Nitrox:The
SAND
DOLLAR is aware of
the benefits of Enriched
Air-Nitrox, and is an approved facility
of both ANDI and IANTD. We have
on board refills available
and have Enriched Air Cylinders
for your use, too. Dive safer !

that are all sponsored by a
number of groups or stores. Since
divers are welcome on those
trips, the whole schedule is open
for reservation. Quite often,
others advertise an "open boat"
that depends on a certain number
of people, or it will cancel.
