How to Find the Sand Dollar Dive Boat

Centrally located in San Pedro in the Ports O' Call Village, just 20 minutes from Los Angeles Airport or 15 minutes from Long Beach Airport, at Berth 77, in Ports O' Call, by the Boardwalk Cafe. See the location map for details.

When you are here, we are also close to all the attractions like Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Knotts BerryFarm.

Nearby is the new Long Beach Convention Center,the Queen Mary, and many  major hotels, as well as the Aquarium of the Pacific.
The SAND DOLLAR runs all year, and the diving in California is good all year. The weather can change and evenings can be chilly. We have whale sightings in the spring and dolphins most of the time. Temperature of the water varies from about 60 to 68 degrees. The winter months can offer some of the best visibility, and it's lobster season, too! Get away from the snow and come to California for some of the greatest diving in the world.
 
 
 

To reach the SAND DOLLAR  from freeways, take the Harbor
( 110 ) Freeway South. The freeway ends at Gaffey Ave., and the
exit immediatly before Gaffey Ave (from Right Lane) is marked
"Vincent Thomas Bridge - Terminal Island - Harbor Blvd"
take the exit towards Vincent Thomas Bridge, but DON'T
cross the bridge! The Harbor Blvd Exit is before the bridge!
Take the Harbor Blvd Exit, turn right at the stop signal,
on Harbor Blvd. At fourth stoplight on the left will be
the entrance to Ports O' Call Village. Turn left into
Ports O' Call and park in the area of Berth 77.
(look for yellow sign in parking lot "Berth 77")

Walk straight under the entrance arch and
Gangway to the SAND DOLLAR is to the
left and just behind building "P-27"

From LAX Airport take the 405 Freeway South
to the Harbor Freeway ( 110 Freeway ) South.

From Orange County take 405 North to
the Harbor Fwy ( 110 Freeway ) South

From East of Los Angeles, take 91 Freeway
to the Harbor Fwy ( 110 Freeway ) South

From Long Beach take Vincent Thomas Bridge
( Going West on Ocean Blvd ) and exit at the
Harbor Blvd Exit at the end of the bridge.

From Gaffey Ave in San Pedro, turn left (East)
on 6th Street and go to Harbor Blvd and the
entrance to the Ports O' Call Village.

to transport your equipment.
